VERITAS Visual Administrator (VxVA) brings graphics-based, object-oriented virtual disk administration to SunSoft environments using theVERITAS Volume Manager (VxVM).VxVA greatly simplifies the normally complex tasks associated with diskstorage administration. Use "drag and drop" operations in combinationwith pull-down menus to create, manage, and tune virtual disks. You cannow create mirrors, stripe, or span file systems, or move the contentsfrom one disk to another to improve performance without interruptingnormal operations -- all with a few clicks of a mouse.VxVA also supports visual performance analysis and tuning. Green, yellow,and red shading alert you to the relative performance of disks orportions of disks. With the click of a mouse, you can eliminatebottlenecks and increase throughput, without interrupting users.
